Crowe set for intimate Sydney gig
14/07/2005 - 14:18:36Russell Crowe is set to make his first official public appearance since his infamous phone-throwing incident six weeks ago.
The Aussie star will perform songs from his album My Hand, My Heart at a supposedly intimate gig in Sydney on July 21. The actor made headlines after he was arrested for allegedly striking a hotel worker in the face with a telephone.
Crowe has taken a hardline approach to the gig, with no photographs allowed to be taken.
"Russell would like to keep the event low-key so as not to detract from the music," the venue's publicist said.
