ISEQ up in early trading
14/07/2005 - 11:34:46The ISEQ index of shares edged 19.9 points higher to 6605.0 in early trading today.
There were mixed fortunes for the financials. AIB moved 5c higher to €17.73 as Bank of Ireland stayed unchanged at €13.52. Irish Life & Permanent edged 1c higher to €14.40 while Anglo Irish was doen 5c to €10.41.
Pharmaceutical giant Elan hit the €6 mark as it gained 11c in early trading.
Meanwhile, CRH was up 26c to €22.25.
The most traded stocks this morning were Bank of Ireland, AIB and CRH.
