Motherwell still interested in Rovers' McCourt
12/07/2005 - 10:27:17Motherwell are still interested in signing Shamrock Rovers star Pat McCourt despite late interest from Livingston and Dundee.
McCourt has recently spoken to both Livingston and Dundee while Rovers’ manager Roddy Collins claims that the Northern Ireland international could remain with the club until the end of the season.
But Butcher is still confident of landing the 21-year-old saying: “I know that Roddy has said that he is staying but I am not sure if that is the case and I am trying to find out what the situation is.
“I know there is interest from other clubs but he trained with us earlier in the year and I think he enjoyed that, so that might stand in our favour.”
