ISEQ makes positive start to week
11/07/2005 - 17:40:01The ISEQ index of shares pulled away from the 6500 mark as it added 53.64 today to close at 6578.54.
The financials led the positive start to the week: Bank of Ireland was up 7c to €13.47; AIB rose 11c to €17.75 and Anglo Irish Bank gained 11c to €10.41. Irish Life and Permanent rose 7c to €14.37.
Ryanair stayed level at €6.40 after the announcement of a seat sale on its ex-Britain routes.
It was a good day for construction stocks, as CRH added 13c to €21.68, while Kingspan was up 25c to €10.36.
