ISEQ follows positive market trends

The ISEQ followed positive market trends worldwide today and is 14.91 points up in morning trade to 6539.81.

Financial stocks saw steady gains: Bank of Ireland was up 5c to €13.45; AIB rose 6c to €17.70 and Anglo Irish Bank gained 10c to €10.40. Irish Life and Permanent rose 7c to €14.37.

Ryanair stayed level at €6.40 after the announcement of a seat sale on its ex-Britain routes.

Kingspan and CRH continued the good fortunes of construction companies, up 9c and 2c respectively.
