'Mayo Five' supporters hold rally in Belmullet
09/07/2005 - 08:43:19There is another rally for the five Mayo men jailed for breaching a High Court injunction in a dispute over the construction of a Shell gas pipeline at Rossport.
The five have now spent 10 days behind bars at Cloverhill prison.
They are refusing to back down in their protest over Shell's right to pipe high pressure gas through their lands, which they claim is a hazard.
The ICSA farming organisation will be lending its support to the protest in Belmullet later today.
