08/07/2005 - 07:31:53
Longford Town have signed Bohemians’ goalkeeper Seamus Kelly on a loan deal after back-up goalkeeper Michael Dempsey was ruled out for the season with a broken ankle.

Kelly joins the Town and will challenge regular goalkeeper Stephen O’Brien, who will retire at the end of the season, for a place in the team as the club challenge on four fronts; the League, League Cup, FAI Cup and UEFA Cup.

Kelly joined Bohemians in 2003 from St Patrick’s Athletic though has lost his place in the first team since Gareth Farrelly took control.
