Goals from John O’Flynn and Roy O’Donovan maintained Cork’s six point lead at the top as they brought Bohs' good run to an end.

Cork were rewarded for their bright start with the lead on 17 minutes when John O’Flynn finished from Neale Fenn’s back heel.

Good work by skipper Kevin Murray and Neal Horgan created the opening for O’Donovan to add City’s second three minutes after the break.

Dominic Foley got a goal back for Cork on 62 minutes, but Cork held out for a big win.
