One Irish person in hospital following London blasts
The Department of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that one Irish person is among those being treated in hospital after the London bombings yesterday.
The man's family is now with him at the hospital in London.
Victims from countries everywhere were caught up in the atrocities.
More than fifty people are confirmed dead.
It's now known thirteen people died on the bus blast.
Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Ian Blair gave another update on injuries this afternoon.
He said there were people being treated in hospital from Sierra Leone, Australia, Portugal, Poland and China.
“I'm sure there will be more to come,” he said, “and as we have said repeatedly, the situation remains that this is an attack which is entirely arbitrary, random and irrespective of race, colour, religion, gender or age.”
