Two changes for Wexford footballers
Wexford manager Pat Roe has made two changes to his side for Saturday's All-Ireland SFC second round qualifier against Monaghan.
Darragh Breen comes back into the starting line-up at left corner-back, plugging the gap left by Vodafone Player of the month for April Phillip Wallace, who is spending the summer in the United States.
Breen beat out Robert Mageen for inclusion, while Niall Murphy mans the full-back position.
Inspirational captain John Hudson also returns for the Modeal men, having been a substitute last time out in the Leinster semi-final loss to Dublin.
Hudson replaces Paddy Colfer, who takes his place on the replacements bench. Teenage attacker PJ Banville, a former Waterford United soccer player, retains his place at right corner forward, having notched 1-1 against the Dubs.
Dual star Redmond Barry - the player for whom this Clones tie was originally postponed - also starts for what is the sides' first ever championship meeting.
Honours are even over their six National League clashes since 1995.
WEXFORD (SFC v Monaghan): J Cooper; C Morris, N Murphy, D Breen; K Kennedy, D Murphy, P Curtis; N Lambert, D Fogarty; R Barry, S Cullen, J Hudson (capt); PJ Banville, D Kinsella, M Forde.
