Canaries reveal Gallacher interest

07/07/2005 - 14:14:57
Norwich manager Nigel Worthington has confirmed that Dundee United have made an “inquiry” into the possibility of bringing goalkeeper Paul Gallacher back to Tannadice.

Tangerines boss Gordon Chisholm is searching for a new keeper after Tony Bullock moved to Gillingham earlier this month.

The 25-year-old Scotland international has failed to break into the Carrow Road first team after moving to Norfolk last summer.

Now United have asked about Gallacher’s availability as the Bank of Scotland Premier League side look for a new number one ahead of the season opener against Aberdeen on July 30.

Worthington told the Norwich Evening News: “We have had an inquiry from Dundee United about Paul Gallacher and, at the moment, we are waiting for them to get back to us.”
