Bellamy joins Blackburn
07/07/2005 - 16:58:07Blackburn have completed the signing of Newcastle striker Craig Bellamy.
The 25-year-old fell out with Magpies manager Graeme Souness earlier this year and spent the second half of last season on loan at Celtic.
The Scottish side, along with Everton and Aston Villa, were interested in signing Bellamy but the player has opted to link up again with Mark Hughes, who was his manager for Wales until, coincidentally, he moved to Ewood Park to replace Souness last season.
“Rovers have today completed the signing of Craig Bellamy. The Wales international has signed a four-year deal,” said a statement by Blackburn.
