Doherty French trip forces band to cancel
07/07/2005 - 14:04:23Rock band Babyshambles were forced to cancel a support slot with Oasis last night because singer Pete Doherty was unable to get transport back from France.
The group were due to play at Southampton's Rose Bowl and pulled out just hours before they were due to go on stage. The singer was in Paris celebrating the birthday of a French fashion designer.
However, their spokesperson confirmed that their next support slot with Oasis on Saturday would go ahead as planned in Milton Keynes.
