ISEQ drops 65 points
07/07/2005 - 18:05:04The ISEQ fell 64.48 points to 6480.12 today, as the FTSE was rocked by a series of terrorist attacks on London.
Ryanair fell 16c (2.5%) to €6.31, despite the airline’s announcement of new routes from Shannon to Bristol and Nantes.
Elan was also down 2.5% at the end of the day, dropping 15c to €5.95. The pharmaceutical giant’s multiple sclerosis drug, Tysabri, should make a return to the market next year, according to a report published today.
Kerry Group ended the day down 50c (2.4%) at €20.25.
Building materials company CRH dropped 34c (1.6%) to €21.35.
Irish Life and Permanent was down 23c (1.6%) at €14.14, while AIB lost 25c (1.4%) to €17.38.
Anglo Irish Bank was up 10c at €10.35, but Bank of Ireland was down 5c at €15.50.
Insurance group FBD dropped 20c to €27.00.
