Rams sign Edworthy
06/07/2005 - 09:41:08Derby manager Phil Brown has further bolstered his defence by signing experienced right-back Marc Edworthy on a free transfer.
The 32-year-old was released by Norwich this summer after two years at Carrow Road, helping the club return to the Barclays Premiership as First Division champions in his first season before tasting relegation last term.
He had been linked with Plymouth and Sheffield Wednesday but Brown – who earlier this week signed Middlesbrough youngster Andrew Davies on a season-long loan – has swooped to add some experience to his back-line.
