No place for Cork skipper Levis
Cork manager Billy Morgan has left captain Sean Levis out of the Rebels' line-up for Sunday's Munster SFC final against Kerry at Pairc Ui Chaoimh.
The Carbery Ranger has missed out after a disappointing performance in Cork's semi-final win over Clare, while Morgan has also wielded the axe on experienced wing-back Martin Cronin.
International Rules star Graham Canty has been switched from midfield to assume Levis' full-back berth, with Nicholas Murphy and Derek Kavanagh forming a new-look centre field partnership.
New captain Eoin Sexton has replaced Cronin in the half-back line, with Noel O'Leary - a noted corner-back - taking the number five jersey.
They are the only changes in Morgan's side as he bids to lead Cork to their first Munster final victory over Kerry since 1999.
It won't be an easy task - Kerry have reigned supreme in seven of the last ten Munster deciders (1996-97-98-2000-2001-2003-2004).
