Crespo coming back to Blues
06/07/2005 - 07:18:24Hernan Crespo is set to return to Chelsea and play in England next season, according to the Argentinian striker’s agent.
After an indifferent first season with the Blues, Crespo was loaned to AC Milan last year where he performed admirably, helping them to the Champions League final.
Chelsea’s search for a new striker this summer has been futile so far and though both Milan and Crespo admitted their desire to make the unification permanent, the Rossoneri’s signing of Christian Vieri on a free transfer from rivals Inter yesterday is bad news for Crespo.
His agent, Fernando Hidalgo, told the Daily Mail: “Hernan will play the next season with Chelsea and he wants to have as good a season as he had last year at Milan.”
