New leisure resort would bring 400 jobs to Wexford
03/07/2005 - 17:03:10Up to 400 new jobs may be created in Co Wexford in a major boost to the tourism and hospitality sector in the south-east.
The jobs would be in a a new hotel and golf resort on Kilmore Quay. The luxury facility, which would also include a marina and an equestrian centre, would cost about €170m to build and would cover more than 600 acres.
The project is being backed by a consortium of local and national interests but must still go through the planning process.
