Second half goals from playmaker Keith Fahey and skipper Colm Foley eased St Pat’s relegation worries at Finn Park.
Fahey struck for the opener on 62 minutes when his weak shot took a wicked deflection to enter the net off Harps' defender Declan Boyle.
Fahey then provided the free-kick for Foley to score the second with a free header nine minutes later. The win moves St Pat’s above both Waterford and Bray into mid-table.
