All-Ireland travel for OAPs proposed

A delegation from the SDLP met with the Minister for Foreign Affairs this afternoon to discuss all-Ireland travel rights for old age pensioners.

The delegation also discussed opening the Ulster canal, and mobile phone roaming charges along the border.

Dermot Ahern said it was hoped that old age pensioners in both jurisdictions would have free travel on the entire island soon.
