Weekend breaks in west '20% cheaper than in Dublin'
29/06/2005 - 09:29:51Weekend breaks in the west of Ireland are considerably less expensive than those in Dublin, according to the regional tourist authority for Galway, Mayo and Roscommon.
The body said a survey it commissioned found that an average weekend break in the west was around 20% cheaper than one in the capital.
The survey looked at the price of alcohol, accommodation, transport and leisure activities.
