Part-time fears for Rovers

28/06/2005 - 10:27:00
Shamrock Rovers manager Roddy Collins has admitted that his side may have to revert to part-time if a new investor is not found by Saturday.

Currently in examinership, Rovers need a new investor soon if they are to continue on a full-time basis and Collins admitted that time is running out. “If something does not break by Saturday, we will have to consider all options,” said Collins.

“It will be back to a part-time and cost-cutting basis, I’ve been told. That means it will be back onto the building site for me, and it means we’ll be losing fix or six players instead of bringing in five or six as I had hoped.”
