Furnish defends Elton's hospitality

David Furnish has blasted critics who branded the Rocket Man a bad host at his recent charity event.
Some tabloids claimed guests were told not to talk to Elton unless he approached them at his annual White Tie And Tiara party.
But according to David, the couple spent so long meeting and greeting they missed out on dinner.
“Attempting to paint Elton as some trumped-up celebrity who is above looking after people who support our charity is deeply, deeply offensive,” he ranted.
