City await bid for Wright-Phillips
25/06/2005 - 12:22:56Manchester City have yet to receive a bid from Chelsea for star winger Shaun Wright-Phillips.
Chelsea are reported to have offered City £18m (€27m) for the 23-year-old England man but PA understands that City have heard nothing yet from the Premiership champions.
A fee of £18m would be hard to turn down for City, who are struggling against debts of more than £60m (€90m).
