New housemates join Big Brother house

25/06/2005 - 09:46:46
Three new housemates were today settling into their first full day in the Big Brother house.

Eugene, Kinga and Orlaith are the latest additions to the Channel 4 show, arriving barely dressed in fig leaf-covered bikinis and swimming shorts just moments after Italian Roberto's eviction last night.

But the other housemates were completely unaware of their existence - the trio are being hidden away in a secret indoor garden for the time being.

Just two of the three will eventually secure places in the house but, while they are in the secret garden, they have to remain unnoticed by the others.

The new housemates are Eugene, Kinga and Belfast girl Orlaith.

Big Brother bosses decided to bring in two girls to balance the house after Mary, Lesley and Sam were voted off in the first three weeks.

With the housemates locked in the living room, Eugene, Kinga and Orlaith sneaked into the house wearing fig leaf costumes.

Big Brother gave them one minute to help themselves to as much food and drink as they could carry to tide them over while they are holed up in the secret garden.

They were told by Big Brother that they will have no personal possessions and, like The Borrowers, will have to forage from the main house for food, clothes and toiletries.
