Rain delays start of Glastonbury
24/06/2005 - 11:01:16The start of the Glastonbury Festival was postponed today due to torrential rain.
Bands were due to take the various stages at 10.30am – but organisers pulled the plug because of health and safety fears.
A festival spokesman said: “All the bands on all the stages have been postponed until further notice on the grounds of health and safety.”
