Jude may have to wait to play the Dane
24/06/2005 - 14:27:20Jude Law's promised return to the London stage has hit a glitch, nine months after the actor promised to tread the West End boards.
The star revealed in September he was in negotiations to star in a new production of Hamlet - his first turn in the West End since 2002.
But the play may not get the go-ahead. Speaking at the first night of his fiancee Sienna Miller's new play As You Like It, Law said: "Let's say it's still in discussion. I don't want to get into it."
A spokesperson for the Young Vic Theatre, where Hamlet was expected to be performed added: "We haven't got any concrete plans to report."
