BA increases fuel surcharge

24/06/2005 - 07:18:36
Customers flying with British Airways this summer were today hit with another increase in the airline’s fuel surcharge.

The levy – £48 (€72) for a return trip – applies to tickets from Monday and came as BA warned that its fuel bill for this financial year would be around £1.6bn (€2.4bn), some £450m (€679m) higher than a year earlier.
