New directors on Greencore board
ISEQ-listed food company Greencore has announced the appointment of Patrick Coveney as chief financial officer and Geoff Doherty as group development director. Both Mr Coveney and Mr Doherty will join the Board of Greencore as executive directors.
MrCoveney is currently a partner at international management consultant McKinsey and Company, and location manager of McKinsey in Dublin.
Mr Doherty joined Greencore in 2001 as group financial controller. He played a key role in integrating the Greencore and Hazlewood businesses, including streamlining the group’s financial and reporting systems.
Greencore chief executive David Dilger said: “These appointments represent important progress for Greencore and demonstrate the group’s ability both to attract and internally develop great young executive talent.”
