Timmy McCarthy returns to the forward line in place of Neil Ronan after recovering from injury.
Elsewhere, Pat Mulcahy retains his place in the half-forward line at the expense of Wayne Sherlock, who will start on the bench.
Tipperary are due to name their team tonight, with doubt still hanging over the fitness of Lar Corbett.
The forward limped out of the semi-final clash against Clare with a hamstring injury.
