Injury rules McKenzie-Smith out of Lillywhites' qualifier
22/06/2005 - 15:53:41A dislocated elbow has ruled experienced attacker Stuart McKenzie-Smith out of Kildare's All-Ireland SFC second round qualifier on Saturday, July 2.
The Sarsfield forward hurt his elbow in Newbridge just hours after coming on as a substitute in the Lilywhites' Leinster semi-final loss to Laois.
Better news for Kildare boss Padraig Nolan arrived yesterday with the news defender Eamon Callaghan's injury - sustained last Sunday against Laois - is not a fracture.
Tests have shown that Callaghan's ankle injury is not a serious one.
