Police attacked with rocks and paint bombs
21/06/2005 - 07:48:37Three youths were arrested last night after police were attacked with paint bombs and rocks in Derry.
Officers were targeted during a patrol in the city close to Fahan Street, a police spokesman said.
Earlier it had been reported that a paint bomb was thrown at a house in the Fountain area of the city.
Stones were also thrown at houses in the neighbourhood, prompting the operation that led to the arrests.
