Minister consults Garda Commissioner in custody death probe

The Minister for Justice has spoken to the Garda Commissioner about the case of a teenager who died three years ago while in custody at Clonmel Garda Station.

It is understood the family of Brian Rossiter - aged 14 when he died - is preparing to sue the State.

Minister Michael McDowell has asked for a full report on the matter and says he will not be commenting on the case further until he has read that report.
