ISEQ slips in morning trading
The ISEQ has slipped marginally in morning trading today, sliding 5.47 to 6,368.31 today.
Financial shares are mixed. Bank of Ireland shares have climbed 5c to €13 but Allied Irish Bank shares have slipped 1c to €17.04.
Shares in Anglo Irish Bank have fallen 6c to €10.08 while Irish Life & Permanent shares are unchanged at €13.85.
Elsewhere pharmaceutical giant Elan today announced it has agreed a settlement with former CEO Donal Geaney, of an action he had taken in the High Court.
The action related to the agreement for the exercise of share options granted to Mr Geaney during his period as an employee of the company. Shares in Elan have slipped 4c to €5.56 today.
Meanwhile oil and gas exploration group Tullow today announced updates on three UK Business Unit assets. Tullow shares have climbed 11c to €2.79 today.
The most traded shares today are CRH, AIB, Anglo Irish Bank, Paddy Power and INM.
