O'Brien completes switch
13/06/2005 - 10:09:32Andy O’Brien today completed his move from Newcastle to Portsmouth.
The 25-year-old Republic of Ireland centre-back was given permission to discuss a switch, understood to amount to £1.5m (€2.2m), to Fratton Park on Friday.
“We can confirm that Andy O’Brien has left the club for Portsmouth,” a Newcastle spokesman said.
