Boy, 3, killed by truck in Tipperary

A three-year-old boy has been killed after being hit by a truck.

The accident happened at Rathclough in Tipperary just before 4pm yesterday.

Elsewhere, a woman in her 20s has died in hospital after an accident just 100 metres from the scene of last month's fatal bus crash near Navan.

She was on a motorcycle with a male companion which hit a car at Mooretown shortly before 4pm yesterday.
