€2m in severence packages for health board bosses
10/06/2005 - 07:25:26The heads of the former health boards are being offered a severance package worth more than €2m in total.
Eleven chief executives are losing their jobs as the health board system is replaced by the Health Service Executive.
They must decide by next week whether to accept a lump sum severance deal equal to twice their annual salary.
In addition, each will be offered a retraining grant of up to €10,000.
