De Niro stars in 40s drama

An often neglected work by Martin Scorsese is New York, New York (MGM), now available in a special edition.

Robert de Niro is a big band sax player, Liza Mille the singer who shares his passion for music and romance. Set in the 1940s, it has some great music.

An abundance of documentaries and features, plus a shared audio commentary with Scorsese and deleted and alternate scenes make this well worth checking out.
