New Rovers contract for Nelsen
08/06/2005 - 10:08:13Blackburn defender Ryan Nelsen has signed a new three-year contract with the Lancashire club.
The 27-year-old New Zealand captain joined Rovers in January on an 18-month contract from American Major League Soccer team DC United.
He was hugely impressive in a miserly Blackburn defence and made 15 league appearances and another five in the FA Cup.
