Here’s to you Mrs Robinson as actress Bancroft dies
08/06/2005 - 01:32:58Anne Bancroft, who shot to fame as the seducer of her daughter’s boyfriend in the 1967 movie The Graduate, has died of cancer, spokesman John Barlow announced tonight.
She had previously won the 1962 best actress Oscar as the teacher of a young Helen Keller in The Miracle Worker.
She was 73.
