Independent News and Media predict better profits ahead
08/06/2005 - 18:00:50Newspaper group Independent News and Media is reporting that advertising revenue and circulation is ahead of last year.
Shareholders at the group's AGM in Dublin today were told that the company expected to record "meaningful improvement in underlying profit for 2005".
The group is optimistic that trading conditions will remain positive.
The AGM also heard that the company expects to net €100m from the sale of its stake in iTouch.
