Line-up for G8 protest concert unveiled

Travis, Snow Patrol and Dido will be among those heading the line-up at a massive anti-poverty concert in Scotland next month, it was revealed today.

The concert, on the evening of July 6 at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium, will come on the day world leaders gather at Gleneagles for the start of the G8 summit.

Live 8 organiser Midge Ure unveiled details of the Long Walk To Justice concert at the 67,500-seat stadium.

Last week fellow co-ordinator Bob Geldof called for up to a million people to march on the Scottish capital on July 6 to protest against poverty in Africa.
