Derry City hope for return to winning ways
03/06/2005 - 09:47:19Derry City will hope to return to winning ways following last week’s 2-0 defeat by Cork City against a Drogheda United team protecting a 10-game unbeaten run.
Derry will give late fitness tests to Eamon Doherty (ankle), Clive Delaney (knee) and Alan Murphy (foot) though defender Damien Brennan (medial knee ligament) is ruled out for three weeks.
Drogheda United, whose only defeat this season was at the hands of Derry on the opening day, will be without Gavin Whelan (ankle) and David Sullivan (groin) though goalkeeper Dan Connor and Graham Gartland are available again.
