Candystripes enjoy sweet win over Drogs

A terrific brace of goals from Mark Farren moved Derry up to second in the table as they did the double over Drogheda to end their 10-match unbeaten run.

Peter Hutton headed Derry in front on 43 minutes. Farren then took over, increasing Derry’s lead 11 minutes into the second half.

A cool finish brought the third goal on 73 minutes after Farren ran through onto Eddie McCallion’s pass.
