HSE ‘raised concerns about spate of deaths at Leas Cross’
02/06/2005 - 08:29:08The Health Service Executive had reportedly raised concerns about a spate of deaths among patients at the Leas Cross nursing home in north Co Dublin.
Reports this morning say 14 patients at the nursing home died between January and March this year.
The deaths were among a number of concerns raised by the HSE during an inspection eight weeks ago.
Other problems include poor staff communications, medical care, drug records, fire equipment, documentation and medical charts.
