Pitt: I will never win an Oscar
01/06/2005 - 19:02:48Hollywood actor Brad Pitt is convinced he will never get an Oscar because there is too much competition for the coveted award.
The hunky 41-year-old has only received one Academy Award nomination for 1996 Terry Gilliam movie Twelve Monkeys.
And he has finally stopped expecting the gong, contenting himself with enjoying the swanky ceremony instead.
He says: "I don't think I'm one of those guys who's considered. There are a lot of us around.
"At the same time, it's fun to go to and look around and see what everyone did for the year.
"But I don't want them to give me one when I'm old because they feel sorry for me!"
