Pakistan minister condemns shrine bombers
27/05/2005 - 11:20:04Pakistan’s Information Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed condemned the attackers who carried out today's blast at an Islamabad shrine as “enemies of Pakistan and Islam”.
He said it appeared to be a suicide attack and at least 14 people had died.
Other reports put the death toll at 20.
Major Tubassam Zaheer, a bomb disposal expert, said his team was collecting body parts and clothes of the victims to help determine what type of explosives were used in the attack.
