Cork City join Shels at the top

George O’Callaghan and John O’Flynn hit a couple of crackers as Cork moved joint top of the table.
The opener came on 55 minutes and was no more than City deserved after upping the tempo in the second half.
Kevin Doyle, a transfer target for Reading, set up O’Callaghan on the edge of the area and the talismanic midfielder shot past David Forde.
Joe Gamble and Doyle created the killer second goal on 85 minutes with Doyle running 60 yards to cross for substitute O’Flynn to tap home.
Cork now visit Shelbourne for a top of the table clash on Monday night.
