36-year-old man shot dead in his bedroom in west Dublin
27/05/2005 - 08:09:07A 36-year-old man has died after he was shot by a gunman at his home in the Clondalkin area of west Dublin early today.
The victim was shot in his bedroom by a gunman who entered the house on Westbourne Drive after a relative answered a call to the front door at around 1.15am.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, which has now been preserved for technical examination.
A post mortem is also due to be carried out later today.
