Activists establish fake WTO in revealing documentary

Another fascinating and amusing release this week is The Yes Men (Tartan) as Andy Birchibaum and Mike Bonanno, two anti-globalisation activists, who take on the World Trade Organisation by the simple expedient of setting up a fake WTO site and then accepting the invitations to attend a conference to propose outrageous anti-worker ideas.

Witty, engrossing and occasionally over-the-top, The Yes Men is never dull. Chris Smith, Dan Ollman and Sarah Price followed The Yes Men for four years as they constantly sought ways to get their message across.

Among the extras are an interview with The Yes Men, plus an intriguing audio commentary by the filmmakers. Great entertainment.
